Tuzabonana

tuzabonana means something like  ''ill meet you again sometime in the future.  its open ended.  and thats how we are feeling leaving today.  we have no idea when we will be back here.  no immediate plans to return.  we trust that we will, and soon.  but we dont know.  and thats just where we have to sit for now.  

thankfully this calendar year promises visits to the states by many of our rwandan family members, including a most beloved sister/niece who will live with us for a few months.  after the incredibly generosity and hospitality of which we were recipients, we are anxious to have the opportunity to offer our friends and family the best of what we have to offer in our home.  its not a debt we feel, but an excitement at the knowledge that we can express our gratitude and reciprocate.  

we have said most of our goodbyes, cried our initial round of tears (im sure our eyes will continue to leak as we savor our memories and long to be here again), and we are looking toward home with hope and excitement.  we have all changed, we have all grown, and we look forward to seeing how that translates into our everyday lives.
