Ivy Ann is THREE Months

sweet ivy ann irema is three months old today and she is the squishiest, most delectable human in existence.
imagine dough, freshly risen, waiting to be baked.  if you poke it with your finger it will deflate slightly because its so absurdly soft.  that is my girl's cheeks.  they are literally pastry.  and i kiss them all day every day.  it gets in the way of the rest of my life.  im sorry if i dropped the ball with you lately, i was burying my face in dough.
she is cooing so much these days, talking so happily.  she is almost always content unless she is too tired or its past her feeding time.  she is also a very, um, stout baby.  i call her my chunk a chunk a burning love.  she is in the 99% for height and 93% for weight.  she weighs well over 14lbs at this point.  its absurd.  she has been in 6 month clothes for a month now, and she has more chins than i can count.
her digestive issues initially meant that she took a little longer to get a routine at night.  she is really predictable now however.  she wakes and eats at 7 am, naps from 8:30-11, eats at 11, naps at 12:30, eats at 3, cat naps at 4:30, eats at 5:30 and then goes down at 7.  I feed her at 10 before I go to bed and then she wakes up sometime between 4-5.  she eats quickly and goes right back to sleep.  and i know she is ready to drop that middle of the night feed soon.  i think we will work on that between now and christmas.
the bigger sisters really love ivy ann and ask to hold her frequently.  i love watching them love her, and seeing them single her out and seek her out and make sure they think of her needs.  i am more and more thankful that this girl troupe is what i ended up with.  they are perfect in my estimation.
