in recent months i have stopped being a mother to a little girl and a baby and have transitioned into mother siblings and sisters. etta's personality has come bounding out of her and she is taking up a very special place in our family dynamic and im delighted to watch more and more of her come out each day. (she is far more opinionated and stubborn that eden was at that age, which has interesting implications).
both of my girls love dancing. etta requests music for dancing daily and eden is particularly in to dramatic and serious dancing to instrumental music. etta mae mostly just shakes her bum and holds her bunny. the other night our friend sat down and played for the girls and i just held my breath in delight as a little window opened up and i could see right into eden's heart and mind.
