we went peach picking with a few friends last weekend and it was everything a summer fruit picking outing should be. the peach trees were a little picked over but we still came home with a bounty and scored a gigantic sunflower too. the little store was full of homemade peach everything (cider, ice cream, donuts, salsa) and we did well to get out of there without buying one of everything.
the orchard was surrounded by rolling hills (the kind that people on the east coast call mountains and the kind that those of us who grew up near the cascade mountain range call...hills). here is a quick video with the highlights!
