three years running now we have done a strawberry picking day with our friends at this gorgeous berry farm north of richmond. the first year we went with one other family. the second year eden went with that family while i stayed home with brand new etta mae. and then this year we went with our nature group. there were so many mamas and sweaty babies and ripe berries. and then there was a grand picnic feast to top it all off. everything a berry picking day should be. except we could have used about 10 less degrees of heat, cause lord have mercy, it was hot.
