Just Did It

I just voted in an actual voting booth for the first time. I have voted in the past, don't get me wrong, but I have always been either out of my home state, or out of my home country, or just thought mail was easier, and thus voted by absentee ballot.  

And absentee voting is somewhat anti-climatic.

But today I walked down the street to my local voting center, voter registration and ID in hand, and actually voted.  

I told everyone there that it was my first time to vote in real life.  

One woman told me to walk slow, look around, and take it all in.

So I voted!  

I got my "I voted" sticker. 

I pushed all the buttons.

I got a little teary eyed.

Its an amazing thing to be able to vote.
